क्या वो तुम हो?

बाँहों में अपने
सारा जहाँ समेटे
क्या वो तुम हो?

साँसों में अपनी
मेरे एहसास समेटे
क्या वो तुम हो?

जज्बातों को लफ्ज़,
अब तक थामे हैं जिसके
क्या वो तुम हो?

कुछ सवाल-
हर शाम इधर  से जाते हैं,
कुछ जवाब-
हर शाम उधर  से आते हैं
और कुछ मुस्कुरा कर कहते हैं
क्या वो तुम हो?
क्या वो तुम हो?

तुम ज़रा सा मुस्कुराओ,

तुम ज़रा सा मुस्कुराओ,
ज़िन्दगी मुस्कुराएगी.

तुम ज़रा सा गुनगुनाओ,
 ज़िन्दगी गीत गाएगी

हर सांस के एहसास को,
ख्वाहिशों ने जो बंद रखा है.

तुम ज़रा-सा जी जाओ,
ज़िन्दगी जी जाएगी.

कोशिशें हो हर बार ये -
कि वो  बातें जिंदा रह सकें.

फिर ढूंढना न होगा हर बार यूँ ही,
वो  ज़िन्दगी तुम्हारी, तुम्हें तुम्हें मिल जाएगी.

तुम ज़रा सा मुस्कुराओ,
ज़िन्दगी मुस्कुराएगी......

Eternal Dream: A Quest

May i live in a dream,where-

my soul is free, to swim into deep.

May i live in my own dream, where-

desires flow like a natural beam.

May i live in a dream, where-

worldly blessings seems just so mean.

May i live in a dream where-

i can find  a childlike sleep.

May i live in a dream where-

the torrents thrives always within me.

I am in a quest for this one dream,

in countless dreams, through several sleeps.

But when i will embrace this final dream

i know my friend- i will be in my last sleep.....................

a song of freedom.....

A molten beauty

of an evening

in the cage of a tyrant scorching day

a heart 

in a solitude 

finds itself in a timeless dismay.

they say-

there is a carnival 

to the other side of the wall

O wind!

sway me-

 to the other side 

before the joy of-

dancing spring 

silently decay ........
